NEW!

ExhibitsUSA is delighted to add The Long Ride Home: Black Cowboys in America to our touring roster!

This exhibition, featuring work by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Ron Tarver, deconstructs assumed ideas of Black identity and challenges the myth of the all-American white cowboy. The exhibition offers a contemporary counterpoint through insightful photographs of Black people embodying their Western cultural heritage.

Celebrating a wide variety of circumstances, from Black-owned ranches to big city riding clubs across the United States, Tarver’s images speak to Black joy, Black freedom, and Black resistance.
