Special Guests to Backstage Pass

LOCheader

It’s always a thrill when you hear that special guests have visited your exhibition.

We learned Dr. Carla Hayden, Librarian of Congress, along with Congressman French Hill (not pictured) recently stopped by the William F. Laman Public Library in North Little Rock, Arkansas. They took in the exhibition Backstage Pass: Baron Wolman and the Early Years of Rolling Stone, on view there now through August 11.

Backstage Pass explores the career of artist Baron Wolman during his time as Chief Photographer for Rolling Stone magazine. With thirty-five framed photographs, contact sheets, and original magazine covers, audiences go “backstage” to see photographic coverage of events such as Woodstock and The Day on the Green.

Our thanks to Laman Library’s Richard Theilig for sending the pic.
